Summary of February 2011 Meeting

The process of using Tabs and/or Windows in your web browser to organize your web browsing was shown and discussed. We focused on the Safari and Firefox web browsers, how they each handle this and where you go in their Preferences to set this up.

Next up was Dropbox, and online storage product. Dropbox is a multi-platform solution for storing files online and moving files between your OS X, iOS, Windows, and Android operating systems. You can start out with the free version and move to paid options if needed.

The installation of Dropbox also installs the Growl notification system, so we took a look at this as well.

And as usual we had our help on troubleshooting issues, hands-on time, refreshments, and a good time.
